I guess I forgot to rotate these pics, but my fabric was purchased last year in Lancaster PA and it is by Minick and Simpson the pattern called prairie pasley and the hamptons. The batting by the machine is ready for stitching. I don't throw out anything, I attach both pieces together using a zigzag stitch. The quilt calls for 48 squares, 9 1/2" , batting, and backing. I'm using the paisley print for my triangle and the other for my strips. This will be my first quilt as your go and I will post my progress. Great colours, don't you think!! Happy sewing.
See you soon.
I've never done this method before Linda so I'm going to follow your progress with bated breath. (grin) Love the fabrics!

ReplyDeleteI liked the Prairie Paisely fabric and recently made the quilt. Having only ever made small Quilt-As-You-Go projects I shall be watching your progress with interest.
