Toile and the guest room


Well when I put my mind to it I won't leave it alone until it gets done.
Well I have been busy working on my guest bedroom.
We saw the toile bedskirt and pillows now here's the wall behind the bed.
I love these plates. Don't they standout.
Now the wall as you enter the room had a shelf that said HELP!! So here's the before
 (this is it at Christmas)and the after.
No more cries for help. A little paint
 and dark brown glaze.
Again the before..
....
and
the after. What a transformation.
The other wall or closet wall hangs this cute mirror and pearl heart. Just a little love...
See what's in the mirror. Then I found this ladder in our garage that was my Dad's so I put it to good use.
I hung some quilts.
Now this room is not finished yet. It is a work in progress.

    Your blue toile is so pretty. I've been thinking of black toile for my bedroom, but maybe I need to go blue.

    Toile is one of my favorite patterns, I love it. You sure made a lovely guest room using this bedding. The shelf is a knock out look too. Thanks for sharing your changes. I'm visiting over from MM.

    Very lovely! I love toile, and I particularly think blue toile looks best against crisp white like you have done it.

    My friend, your guest room is coming along beautifully! I don't think you can lose using toile...I love it! And...I love the pretty blue transferware plates with the toile bedding...sooo pretty! Such a beautiful transformation on the pretty shelf! Yes, I think the white looks much better with the direction that you are going with that room! Love it!
