Mondays Surprize

forgot about a couple of patterns and a book I ordered through a friends shop.
When I arrived at our Guild meeting today, there they were. Two patterns from Bunny Hill Designs. One a pin cushion Bitty Bird, and the other Catch a Christmas Star. I know if I start the Catch a Christmas Star now it may be done for Christmas. I have a dear friend who loves snowman. This will be a suprise. Maybe I will make a few. And the other was a Book. Fresh Vintage Sewing by Fig Tree quilts.
I wish I had my camera with me today, I would have shown you some beautiul quilts.
We have a library at the guild , so we can sign out books/patterns and return them by the next mtg. Our guild runs Sept-June. I am the Chairperson for the Workshop and program committee. We had a gentlemen in from Ailsa Craig showing quilts that he brought back from Northern Ireland. His store the Cotton-by-post will exhibit these quilts and more in October 2009. I hope to get there. Here are the books I signed out. Some good reading.
I hope everyone had a great mothers day.

  1. What a lovely array of goodies! I've been thinking about Fresh Vintage Sewing and would love to know what you think of it. Bunny Hill Designs are fantastic. I saw another Christmas quilt pattern of Anne's the other day and simply adore the snowmen in it. Enjoy!...Ann :)

  2. Oh a cup of tea and your set for some relaxing with those goodies!

  3. I love the Catch a falling Star pattern...I can't wait to see it finished...keep us posted on that one. Dianntha

  4. You got some nice goodies in the all your choices. The Bunny Hill designs are so popular and I cannot wait to see what you are going to make first.
