Sewing and sewing and sewing

Well I rec'd licky split fabric, not any fabric but beautiful toile .

Blue and ivory. 5 yards to be exact from Fabric. Com.

Monday here was a holiday to celebrate Queen Victorias Birthday. Or some may know it as May 24 weekend.

Anyhow Monday was sew in day. I made a bedskirt not any bedskirt but a box pleat bedskirt for my antique iron bed.
I used an old flat sheet and cut it to size. Then I proceeded to make these pillows in one hour.

This pattern is so fast. Here is the bed looking its best.
If you are interested in the pattern just email me and I would be happy to forward you the instructions.

  2. I absolutely love Toile. I have a duvet cover in blue and white for our guest bed and one in Red and white for our bed...the fabric here(in France) is very expensive but I managed to find both my duvet covers in the sale. :)
