A Finish and a Parcel

Hi everyone. Well I finally finished the binding on this cute baby quilt.
Here are some pictures
of the baby quilt. It measures 42" x 42" and if you recall I made it reversible. Also a pillow to match.
Yipee the postman came and delivered a package
that I have been anxiously waiting for.
It came from Sew Unique Creations. Thanks Tara, the shirtings
are gorgeous.
One fat quarter bundle of Andover fabrics
. Can't wait to get started.HMMM what will I create..

As well my package came from Hancocks, 10 yds
of Kona solids white. I Love my white for backgrounds.
Well I must get back to finishing my kitchen valances.

intil next time, enjoy your day

  1. Your baby quilt is lovely. I like to make about the same size (and square too), mine is 40x40.

  2. Your baby quilt is amazing. The backing is just as beautiful as the front. I like how you used a light colored binding too. The pillow is just the perfect addition. Can't wait to see what you will create next.

  3. So talented! Both sides of the quilt are gorgeous. I love getting packages in the mail; it's like having a happy unbirthday!

  4. Those are gorgeous. I love the pattern and the fabrics you used.

  5. I love that baby quilt. So pretty and the fact that it's reversible is really nice. I also like the white background. I've been seeing a lot of quilts on blogger with white backgrounds. I think I have to try doing that too.

  6. Hi Linda,
Love the baby quilt..so cute. Wish I had a baby to sew for. Always a joy to play with kiddie shades.
Good to hear your feeling better and back into your routine. Your dear hubby has created some awesome treasure for the kids. How exciting.
Take care and enjoy the coming spring. Finally!!!!

  7. Hi Linda,
